Arma Partners is pleased to announce that it has acted as financial adviser to HgCapital on its reinvestment in Visma Group Holdings (“Visma”), a leading software and BPO services business in the Nordic region, valuing the business at a total enterprise value of NOK 21 billion (£2.1 billion, $3.5 billion).

Visma BPO is currently owned by Visma, a Nordic accountancy software company which HgCapital owns alongside KKR, Cinven and the management team. The BPO business is being carved out and has been sold as part of an organised competitive sales process, following Visma’s strategic decision to focus increasingly on its Software as a Service (“SaaS”) offerings. Visma is a leading provider of mission-critical business software to SMBs in Northern Europe.

In July, HgCapital also announced an investment in Blick Rothenberg, a UK leading provider of accounting, audit and tax services based in London. Blick Rothenberg, Visma BPO and Baldwins will form the newly launched CogitalGroup with each business continuing with their existing brands.

CogitalGroup (‘Cogital’) was launched in December 2016 through the acquisitions and merger of Nordic based Azets (formerly named Visma BPO) and UK based firms Baldwins and Blick Rothenberg.
